Housing

Serenity Health has partnered with Houses Helping Humans (HHH). If you or a loved one is trying to stop drinking or using drugs, Houses Helping Humans may be an option for you. Houses Helping Humans offers sober living homes for men and women who are recovering from addiction. Residents who live in the sober living homes follow certain house rules and contribute to the home by performing household tasks to keep the home clean and organized. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home. Living in this type of environment can help clients maintain their sobriety as they adjust to life both during and after treatment.

Houses Helping Humans operates as a link between a correctional or in-patient facility and the “real world.” Prior to clients returning home, they may struggle with adjusting back to “normal” life. Houses Helping Humans offers an “in-between” recovery option that supports a smooth transition. Houses Helping Humans don’t provide the same level of structure as an in-patient facility, but it does present an intermediate sober environment that encourages residents to develop healthy coping skills and practices for when they return home.
